Merced Lake is only one remote destination along the High Sierra Camp Loop of the Yosemite Wilderness.

Tent cabins are made up of wooden floors, canvas walls & a canvas roof. It's a combination between a tent & a rustic cabin. Most have cots for beds; some have heaters, wood burning stoves &/or electrical outlets. A shared community bathroom is close by. Below are some places in California that offer tent cabin rentals.
