You hafta really wanna go camping here. The long, long drive up Hwy. 168, past Shaver Lake, Dinkey Creek & McKinley Sequoia Grove will have you asking 'is it worth it'? The answer is 'yes', if you want an uncrowded lake with plenty of Wilderness surrounding you.

Cubby-hole type shady campspots well spaced out & surrounded by granite walls. Very unqique design with road side paved driveways to each camping area. Good for handicap access. Lake views from camp are a mere climb up to the top of the nearest granite boulder or wall. Boat launch & fishing all closeby. |
