Grover Hot Springs State Park is located on the east side of the Sierra. This Sierra Park is located in an alpine meadow at 5,900' surrounded by peaks that top 10,000' elevation.

	Nice Shady Camping RV's love this spot, cuz it's open all winter & for the hearty adventurous souls, that means less people too.
Note: hours can vary by season! And they are even open during the winter snowy months.

Seasons/Climate/Recommended clothing
The temperature can vary greatly over the course of a year and even during the course of a month.
Proper preparation for the full range of potential conditions can make a visit to the park not only safe & warm but also dry & comfortable.

Spring	Summer	Fall	Winter
Very clear skies & warm days, 66 - 95 degrees F., with cool to cold nights 24 to 45 degrees F.	Later Summer features very warm mornings, 68 - 83 degrees F., with afternoon thunder storms & comfortable to slightly cool evenings, 31 to 45 degrees F.	Fall is progressively cooling with mildly warm days, 45 - 77 degrees F., freezing nights 20 - 36 degrees F.	Clear and very cold: -5 to 20 degrees F.
		Increasing storm activity towards winter.	Light to very heavy snow storms: 22 - 34 degrees F.
		Early Fall storms are rain, turning to snow storms later in the year.	Sleet & rain at higher temperatures; clear or partly cloudy & rather warm: 35 to 50 degrees F.
