Near Armstrong State Park North of the town of Guerneville, the Armstrong Grove of Redwoods will lead you into total seclusion. Hike for miles & miles in prestine forest BullFrog Road will lead you thru this park - up the hill, way back to Austin Creek, where a decent little campground can be found. |

No kidding about these wild racoons! These are not pets & they do bite.
There's plenty ways to protect your food here, so don't get lazy. (or else your whole box of cereal may be missing) |
| Vehicle access to the park & campground is by way of a steep, narrow, winding, 2.5-mile mountain road. No vehicle over 20 feet in length is allowed on Bull Frog Road. Vehicles with trailers are also prohibited. |
