California ParaSail: Parasailing is when you get towed by a motor boat, in the air with a parachute attached. Great scenery and thrilling for the average tourist. Parasail tours, guides and services very popular activity on California lakes and near seaside marinas on lagoons. ParaSail is to sail across, being pulled.
Paragliding is something entirely different - where you jump off a cliff, underneath a huge kite, without any ropes attached to the ground. Hangliding is even more adventurous, flying a kite with wings - which requires plenty of training and skill. Increasingly more rare, Bungee jumping still exist in California, if you like diving from bridges.
