Tram Rides

Seem like society is so caught up with romance, weddings & pairing people up. Why does it always hafta be couples, couples, couples? Of course, it is a true money maker to market to loneliness. Most of us crave that special someone to share out lives with, that is the obvious. Match making dating web sites are all the rage & romance is a top dollar industry.

As single individuals, we need to be less dependent on a having a partner & more focused on enjoying a quality fun-filled loving life with everyone around us. Instead of being miserable, waiting for THE one, someone special, that new significant other that will make life better. Once your beaming from your travels & adventures, you will become more attractive. Sulking at home alone does no good, neither does hanging out at bars waiting to get laid again. Try again to take control & learn to love your life. You've heard the saying before "You create your own reality".

If you like the outdoors, join a camping group. Wanna learn more about recreation, there are plenty beginner places to start, such as this web site. Make new friends with similar interests. If we learn to live life to the fullest - with or without a mate, we maybe could be more satisfied. Just a thought.

Make this a Valentine's Day something special to remember, even for just yourself!

slow down

Some of us go through our lives like in a rat race, trying to accomplish so much. Gott get on a freeway, speed to work, then off to buy more & more stuff. Feeding frenzies at chain restaurants. The 'must see' weekly entertainment, on television or out on the town.

It's time to stop. Sit still. Plan less stuff to do. Learn to relax more & go places you really wanna go (instead of hafta go)

Try something new. Turn off the TV! Yoga perhaps? Hiking locally. Riding your bike more. An after dinner walk around your neighborhood. Read a book -- all weekend. Picnic on the coast. Find a new village to dine in. Treat a special Valentines to a great weekend.

Our minds may be cluttered. Peace on a daily basis is what we need more of. Maybe it will all just be a blur until we learn to rest, value life's small pleasures & enjoy living.
