| California Hwy 190: Just after the Pierpoint Springs restaurant, this Camp Nelson turn off is easy to miss, cuz it may not have a sign (or it is covered in snow). Small scenic roads with mountain homes line these beautiful meadows in the Sierras. Nelson's Place for cocktails is the hub of all activity. Highway 190 is very, very curvy, so take it slow. You can get a big traffic ticket for crossing the yellow line on the tight curves, so please take your time. |
