No traffic light for 5 full days. Weaving in & out of all the National Park & National Forest lands is an experince of a lifetime. Plenty great camping - everywhere. May through October is the best months to try this adventure.

There is still plenty land for solitude, just make sure to keep the peace. Don't be honking at any cattle in the roadway. Stressed out city folks will soon be put in their place out in these parts.
Moab has become a recent outdoor mecca for the magazine style crowd of 4x4 boys, not to mention the rock climbers, rafters, kayakers, & let's not forget the mountain bikers. It's great climate offers plenty months to enjoy the outdoors. And when the weather is rough & camping is not an option, there are plenty motels rooms to go around.
