“Home of the Best Water on Earth" is their slogan. This small town page is dedicated to my friend, Connie - who recently passed away. She grew up in Dunsmuir in the olden days (1950-1970). She told me stories of wild adventures of her childhood w/ big river, deep snows, waterfalls and summer time spent at lakes that encompass this region. She regretfully moved to Redding to raise her family, but in her later years she expressed wanting to move back to her beautiful Dunsmuir. Love where you live! That one decision, location - can make life better.
