Located on the border of Tahoe & Plumas National Forest, with the imprssive Sierra Buttes towering over the lake landscape and the Yuba river gorge. This is northern gold country, Hwy 49.
A number of small seasonal cabin resorts dot the landscapes between creeks, pines, waterfalls, with at least 10 small crystal clear blue lakes & granite peaks as the backdrop. Summer is fishing, hiking & mountain biking; Winter cross country skiing, ice skating & snowmobile haven.
