Mineral California is the forested mountain hamlet on the south side of Lassen Volcanic NP, which is headquartered on the west side of town. USFS ranger station on the east side of town. This small town has a post office, rustic lodge, small cafe and a country store. However, no gasoline filling station, so plan accordingly. This mountain meadow location is surrounded by Lassen NF, with dozens of dirt roads that access the forest. Vacation homes, cabin rentals, all right next to the National Park.
