Oceano beaches with sand dunes are the main attraction here, where you can drive your vehicle right on the beach - inside Ocean Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (aka Pismo Dunes). Camp & have a beach bon fire too. Just be prepared for lotsa neighbors & louds toys, especially on the weekends. There are very few spots left like this in California, so enjoy it while you still can.

The homies, boys on the other side of the train tracks. Nearly 50% Hispanic population w/ some old folks. Mobile home parks, produce warehouses, sandy beaches and melodrama. Could be considered the roughest hood on the California Central Coast by some, but it really can't be all that bad. Ranked #21 on the list of "Top 101 cities with largest percentage of males in occupations: Art and design workers" More info
