Oceano beaches are the main attraction here, where you can drive your car right on the beach - inside Ocean Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (aka Pismo Dunes). Camp & have a beach bon fire too. Just be prepared for lotsa neighbors & louds toys, especially on the weekends. There are very few spots left like this in California, so enjoy it while you still can.
