California is the golden one, the wild west, the shaken, the unruly. The extreme landscape & diverse population calls to the future, demanding, saturated by the past. The land is incredible, outstanding & magnificent. Outdoor recreation abounds. Lodge resorts near the Wilderness, wild rivers, scenic drives & volcanic mountains. Hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing, fishing, camping, cabins, off road trails, we have it here – on this very web site (if you can dig – just a little). The Sierra Nevada can be found in here, so can NorCal’s beauty. Southern California has a few too. And the closest thing to a lodge resort in Baja California would be our lil fave, Mike’s Sky Ranch.

You can find luxury lodges in the cedar forest near Lake Isabella, a small community called Alta Sierra. It’s beauty resembles an elfin forest w/ ferns, creeks, snow & all. The only fairies, are the motorcycle boys who zoom thru too fast to notice.

We also have here, rustic resorts on the river for your perfect fishing weekend – custom planned by you, on the good old telephone. The local innkeepers like to hear your voice. They get lonely out in the sticks. The Klamath River from Yreka to the ocean – is all excellent.
