No one had ever heard of this area before the large, commercial, music festival took over. This concert event is a SoCal ritual for Spring, out in the desert east of Los Angeles; it attracts thousands every year with top performers always headlining.

The Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, located in Lancaster is the place with snow capped ridges as the backdrop & plenty of vendor displays.

The real Rim of the World Drive is located in the San Bernardino National Forest near the mountain resorts of Big Bear Lake. There are plenty dirt back roads to explore.
