Over 30 years running; Local and long-held tradition McAllen’s Annual Candlelight Posada and Parade. Members from the community as well as out-of-towners gather in the city’s streets to enjoy a time of giving and joy with friends and family.

Christmas in the Adobes:

35,000 guests pack the streets and coastline. All gathered to witness a live nativity procession, Santa Claus and a lit parade involving more than 100 floats. As is tradition, the parade winds down at Archer Park where guests will find three stages for live entertainment.

Reyes Adobe Days is held in the City of Agoura Hills, California. Carshow, parade & 5k run. The parade starts at Forest Cove Lane and travels along Thousand Oaks Boulevard to the Reyes Adobe Historical Site.

Families can experience California culture, past and present, with free museum tours, a music stage, interactive historical demonstrations, children’s history scavenger hunt, horse competition, pony rides, inflatables and carnival games, Victorian games, beer garden and food vendors.

The Reyes Adobe Historical Site is located at 5464 Reyes Adobe Road, (Rainbow Drive & next to Reyes Adobe Park) in Agoura Hills, California.

This is a fun filled day that starts off with a home town parade. Festivities include three stages with musicians, dancers and cloggers; horse demonstrations; antique car, engine and tractor shows; quilt shows; art shows and an entire pavilion devoted to all things ‘pear.’ Food vendors offer an array of scrumptious selections. Wine and beer tasting along with pear margaritas round out the choices. Pear pies and desserts always sell out.

Located on the back roads of Los Angeles county. North, in the high desert mountain region in between Santa Clarita and Palmdale sits Agua Dulce, a small town back behind Vasquez Rocks Park, off Hwy 14.

The Agua Dulce Country Fair is a family-friendly community fund raising event that has been going on for over 50 years. Wow, that is a mighty long run. Chili cook-off, cake walk, photo contest, arts and crafts, raffles and a silent auction. Events kick off w/ parade followed by the fair with vendors, food booths, carnival games, beer garden, live bands and dancing until midnight. Local bands, cover bands, indy rock, classic rock, blues, soul, plus country & western. Fiddles and all.

A parade, Revolutionary War Living History Activities in Pioneer Park, the Gold Country Duck Race on Deer Creek and a free outdoor big band concert in the downtown historic district of Nevada City, Gold Country California. This place is known for its classic small town spirit and unique events, with a population of 3000, Nevada City swells to 10,000 or more on Constitution Day.
