Hollister SVRA has over 3000 acres to recreation on: bikes, 4x4s, quads. Lots of oak trees and vegetation make this a very scenic park. Springtime brings wildflowers; Summertime can get pretty hot.
There are Campgrounds geared towards family camping & some sites may be reserved by groups or 4WD clubs. 2 recreation areas: Upper Ranch & Lower Ranch. The historic Mission of San Juan Bautista and Fremont Peak State Park are both located next door, to the west.
