Single main street kinda town in the heart of the Gold Country. The buildings have the traditional store fronts that make the shops seem bigger than they really are - a traditional style for boom towns during the gold rush. The "main" street is made up of a Large Saloon and Hotel on the corner, demanding a look with a unique second story covered balcony. Across the street is a cluster of abandoned homes and stores - with a large, worn-down, white victorian home that makes you wonder what spritis reside within it walls. You'll find a cute B&B on the other end of "Main Street" & something in the basement called "The Mine Shaft" - not sure what that is about, why not go check & let us know. |
