Plumas County's Round Valley is actually a small lake & picnic spot, but we list it anyway - cuz we love all destinations in California. Mighty fine fishing for the locals. The cabin rental is no longer, but the campground does operate on a seasonal basis. Great little lake well worth a day visit. Make it a whole day. A bird watching paradise, the lake has over 100 species. Dirt roads lead further into wooded back country. This location is also known as Bidwell Lake or Round Valley Reservoir.
