Red Mtn Trail is real rough. Maintained by local 4WD clubs. Maybe a lifted 4WD would be the better choice. This road should be taken by only experienced off-roaders!

Small western Sierra lake for good fishing & camping. It takes a hefty 4x4 to access this gorgeous spot, but you will not be disappointed. Rock crawling and creek crossings the whole way in. High clearance is a must. The last 2 miles can easily take an hour of 4WD technical manuvers to get thru the rocks. Heavy use by equestrain, backpacker and OHV traffic, so share the trail fool.
