Orleans CA is on the Bigfoot Scenic Byway, Highway 96. A winding forested canyon along the Klamath River, that stretches from the Redwood North Coast & thru the Marble Mountains well over to Yreka CA on I-5. This entire NorCal area is renowned for it's salmon & steelhead fishing. Plenty wildlife up here on the Klamath, roaming the steep countryside. The community of Orleans California was named for the 'New Orleans Bar' in the Klamath River.
