Behind the hills of Pasadena, below Mount Wilson & at the end of Eaton Canyon lies Altadena, California. The above photo is Millard Falls (during a good winter, 2000); It's an easy day hike and close to the Los Angeles area, so it attracts a fair amount of tourists. Millard Canyon also has a small campground & plenty spots to picnic. And just in case you were curious, Alta Dena (the dairy) was founded in nearby Monrovia in 1945, not in the community of Altadena.
