Grover Beach is near Pismo Dunes, and this area is high density beach living for Central Coast standards; Pismo camping, the sand dunes OHV park - Oceano & Pismo State Beaches. Busy beach community with shopping, automotive repair, restaurants and a few motels. The main drag is not PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy) which parallels the coastline, but the 4-lane Grande Avenue that stretches miles eastward to the freeway and beyond, to the historic village of Arroyo Grande. California central coast wineries are close by, as well as downtown San Luis Obispo.
