Pismo Beach is the weekend camping haven for most of California. Located half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles, on the gorgeous Central Coast, the "Five Cities" area encompasses PIsmo, as well as Shell Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, & rural Nipomo. Bako boys with all their toys can be seen headed westbound for some cooler temps and off-road fun.. RV Campers frequent Pismo Beach, where the dune buggies, ATV & quads aim for SVRA Oceano - or 'Pismo Dunes' as most still call it. The pier downtown in Pismo is the central hub for the tourists, surfers, local restaurants & beach goers.
