If you cannot stand the crowds over at Lake
Castaic, maybe you wanna head west on Hwy. 126 to this place
which is tucked away in a canyon. Only one road leads into this
place. One large campground serves this lake & admission
is charged to enter the area. Speed boats are quite common.
Very limited shore access is apparent by the 'no parking signs'.
You can only reach the eastern shore from back country hiking
trail #17W05 through Los
Padres National Forest.
