This Sugarpine CA is located on the along the Sonora Pass, along with Sierra villages like Twain Harte & Mi Wuk. Sugar Pine Lumber Company was the initial logging camp. This gold country area is not to be confused with the Sugar Pine Railroad near the south end of Yosemite National Park.
